The Tarot of Oregon Places is a journey through the landscapes that make Oregon so special. From the summit of Mount Hood to the Owyhee River; from Steens Mountain to the Oregon coast and everywhere else in between, the Tarot of Oregon Places will introduce you to new landscapes and reignite your love of place through the art and magick of divination.
The Tarot of Oregon Places is a love letter to Oregon.
Very sparing amounts of photo editing were used- the snapshot style photographs are meant to be familiar feeling and accessible. These are not highly edited, earth-porn style professional images or AI generated slop. I shot these pictures with an outdated iPhone, many of them out of the window of my car.
Some of these places were well-known to me, others revealed themselves through the process of making the deck. When I tried to force the project forward, my efforts were fruitless. Only when I made space to listen, taking my time with the journey, did the perfect locations for each image reveal themselves.
Many places included in this deck have burned or been changed since these photos were taken. Everything is temporary- you must make time to spend with the people and places you love most.
You can use this deck as part of your own personal intuitive practice, as inspiration for your next road trip across Oregon, or as pathway for your own spirit-led creative explorations.
